The 28th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society (President : Dr. Yasushi Miyashita) will be held on July 26-28, 2005 in Yokohama, a beautiful port city near Tokyo. The venue, PACIFICO YOKOHAMA, is a magnificent conference center over-looking the bay area. This is the largest neuroscience meeting in Japan (more than 2,000 participants) covering a broad range of areas of the field : molecular, cellular, systems, cognitive and computational neurosciences including both basic and clinical studies. The meeting will contain plenary lectures and more than 40 symposia, which will be presented by distinguished researchers including many from abroad, as well as platform presentations and posters. We believe that Neuroscience Japan 2005 will provide the most useful information not only to researchers in the field of neuroscience but also to those in different fields. We sincerely hope that you will not miss the opportunity to join us for this very important meeting.
Travel Awards will be given to the non-Japanese young scientists traveling from abroad (particularly those from Asian countries) who give the best presentations at the meeting. We would like this meeting to be an internationally open opportunity for the exploration of the amazing world of neuroscience.
