The Travel Awardees named for
The 28th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society
Thank you for your support and interest to our Travel Award. This year we have encouraged young members of the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNSS) working abroad to apply for the Travel Award. We have also encouraged a graduate student, a postdoctoral fellow or a junior faculty in an IBRO Asian-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC)-membership country to apply for the Special Travel Award for Asian Scientists.
Our Program Committee has selected the following 34 final candidates of the awardees from 47 applicants. They will accept their awards during general assembly meeting in the evening of July 26. We would like this meeting to be an internationally open opportunity for academic exchange.

Qualifications:
1. The applicant should be a member of the Japan Neuroscience Society (JNSS) who is working abroad as a graduate student, a postdoctoral fellow or a junior faculty (as of July 26, 2005).
2. The applicant should be a presenting author of this JNSS meeting.
3. The applicant should register and submit an abstract prior to application.
How to Apply:
Register and submit an abstract before application via our web site.
Then send a mail of application to Congress Secretariat (neurosci2005@congre.co.jp).
The applicant should indicate in the email her/his name, affiliation, registration number (registration ID) and abstract registration number, guaranteeing that the applicant has completed her/his registration and abstract submission.

Selection and Notification:
The Program Committee will review the applications and abstracts and inform the applicants of adoption or rejection by the end of April, 2005. The Travel Award will be delivered at this JNSS meeting.
